The Nhamacoa forest is situated in the Distrito do Gondola, Manica Province. It is about 46 kilometres from the town of Chimoio and is about 9 kilometres from the village of Macate. The Zimbabwean border through the Machipanda/Forbes border post and the town of Mutare is a two hour drive.
